Return & Exchange Policy

We want you to love what you ordered. If something’s off, let’s make it right.

Return Window

You have 30 days from the purchase date to request a return or exchange.

Eligible Items

  • Must be unused, unworn, and in original packaging with tags still attached.

In-Store Returns

You can return eligible items to any of our physical 17th Street Surf Shop locations. Just bring your packing slip and the item in returnable condition (as outlined above), and we’ll take care of you.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Gift cards

  • Downloadable software

  • Some health and personal care items

Refunds

  • Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll email you with an update.

  • If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method.

  • Refunds usually appear within a few business days—depending on your bank.

Having trouble with a missing refund? Double-check your account, then contact your bank or card company. Still stuck? Reach out to us at web@17thst.com.

Exchanges

We’ll gladly exchange items if they’re defective or damaged. Email web@17thst.com and send the item to:

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the return. If it wasn’t marked as a gift, we’ll refund the original purchaser.

Return Shipping

  • Mail returns to the address above.

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the return is due to a mistake on our end.

  • Return shipping costs are non-refundable.

If you’re returning an item worth over $75, we recommend using a trackable shipping method or adding shipping insurance. We can’t guarantee we’ll receive your item otherwise.
