Volunteer Opportunities

The AST Dew Tour, the fastest growing and most intense action sports tour of its kind, is seeking as many as 100 volunteers for the 2008 Panasonic Open. Volunteers are needed in many areas including Team Leaders, Athlete Services, VIP/Hospitality, and Spectator Experience.

AST Dew Tour Volunteers will receive a behind the scenes tour for all the venues before the event, Official AST Dew Tour gear, 2 complimentary tickets for each day worked, and an invitation to the AST Dew Tour Volunteer Reception.

1. HOW TO PLAY: Fill out an entry form at any 17th Street Surf Shop Location.  Only one entry per person per store visit is permitted.

2. PRIZES & APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES (“ARV”): Prize - Prize winners will be awarded 2 general admission tickets to the AST Dew Tour, June 20-22, 2008 for the Saturday and Sunday events.   Winners under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a travel companion.  The approximate retail value (“ARV”) of this Grand Prize is $80. NOTE: all meals, accommodations, incidentals, gratuities, telephone calls, and personal expenses incurred by a winner and his or her guest during their stay and any other expenses are the sole responsibility of the winner and his or her travel companion. Winner and their travel companion will be responsible for all round trip transportation to and from the point of origin and the AST Dew Tour.  17th Street surf Shop is not responsible for changes in schedule of any element of the Prize, and are not liable for any expenses incurred as a consequence of flight cancellation/delay.

3. ODDS OF WINNING:  Odds of winning depend on the number of entries from among all entry methods. Limit one prize per family/household.

4. DRAWING: The drawing will be conducted via random drawing from April 5th 2008 to June 15th 2008 among all eligible entries received through 11:59:59 p.m. (EST) on June 15th 2008. Drawings will be conducted by a representative of 17th Street Surf Shop. All decisions of the 17th Street Surf Shop representative shall be final. Potential winners must check the website 17thst.com to see if they have won. 

5. GENERAL RULES: The Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of Virginia and North Carolina.  The Sweepstakes is void outside of this specific area and anywhere else where it may be prohibited by law. Employees of Sponsor, its parent, affiliated companies, and its promotional, advertising, judging organization and public relations agencies and their subsidiaries, agents and the families or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to enter or win. Failure to claim the prize within a week will result in disqualification. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prize of equal or greater value.
